Haus Of Elan - which translates as “house of great enthusiasm, energy, style and confidence” - delivers on that feel in spades. Its Palm Springs-inspired design with a W Hotel flare perfectly mixes modern features with vintage elements, all orchestrated flawlessly by designer Travis Smith of the famed H3K Group. Bright orange front doors set the scene for the colorful adventures to be found inside. Here the expansive living room greets you, with its grey and white color scheme giving you a relaxed vibe, while the pops of blue and orange create those fun vacation feels. The lounge area presents a comfortable L-shaped chaise lounge from which to take in the large screen TV sitting above the modern fireplace. Alternatively, take a seat in the vintage 1960’s Folke Ohlsson purple lounge chair and ottoman, which pairs with the retro coffee table perfectly. Nearby, the 1962 bar cart, sourced all the way from Syracuse in New York, beckons you to make a cocktail to enjoy in front of the TV or perhaps with your meal at the beautiful 10-seater dining table with its bright orange chairs. With the adjacent glass doors pocketing to be fully open to bring the outside in, you have your choice of eating inside or outside without moving your chair! That meal you’re enjoying can be prepared in the magnificent fully-stocked kitchen. It’s large island counter providing additional seating with 4 stools, just the spot to take in whomever is working their magic on that professional looking 6-burner stovetop. Just around the corner from the kitchen, a built in workstation also gives you the opportunity to return those emails and tell everyone how fabulous your vacation is at this home. While the living area puts you under the guise of Dean Martin hanging on the wall, it’s Audrey Hepburn that greets you in the adjacent guest powder room, complete with its striking cherry colored feature wall. These artworks are just part of the inspiring selection on display in this home, including those by local Palm Springs artists such as David Travis and Rick Prescott, as well as ones such as the vintage 1980’s reproductions featuring Iman and Dolph Lundgren by respected Chicago photographer Victor Skrebneski. Venturing outside through those open glass doors to the courtyard, you’ll discover your private oasis featuring a heated (upon request) “cocktail" pool and spa. Here you can take in the sun on the pair of sun lounges, or have it “made in the shade” by relaxing at the undercover conversation set with friends. Next to the seating area is the cleverly designed and super cute built-in bar, with its orange stool seating on the outside, and its serving area on the inside, complete with cocktail-inspired wallpaper. The windows can be fully opened to make the perfect open bar. Grab your martini and head up the stairs to the wonderful elevated patio where you can take in the sun and the surrounding mountain views from the comfortable seating. It’s the optimum place for that pre-dinner sunset cocktail. Wander inside from there and you’ll be in the upstairs primary bedroom. Here the green and blue wallpaper creates a feeling of serenity, helping you get a great night’s sleep in the large king bed complete with hotel quality luxurious Brooklinen linens. You will also find a large screen TV and a generous en-suite bathroom complete with walk-in shower, double vanity and ample storage in the walk-in closet. The second primary suite is situated on the lower level and gives you poolside views to wake up to each morning from the comfort of your king size bed with super soft mattress. Here the grey and blue color palette creates a striking impression, as will the en-suite bathroom complete with make-up vanity, walk-in shower and extremely generous walk-in closet. For the adventurous, the home’s third bedroom is in a casita-style, accessible near the pool via its glass sliding doors. Its vintage-style lighted “popular” sign hanging over the bright “eye”-inspired wallpaper creating a stand-out impression from the get-go. This bedroom once again features a King size bed with Brooklinen linens, wall-mounted TV, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and ample storage in the walk-in closet. It is just a short drive to a selection of supermarkets or to the Uptown Design District with its extensive selection of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and other vintage shops.

Additional rules BY AGREEING TO BOOK, YOU ARE ALSO LEGALLY AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING! •Responsible party booking this reservation must be at least 25 years old and present for the entire stay booked. •This space is set up for 6 adults/kids . Please adjust your guest count accordingly prior to booking. •Additional cleaning fees will be added for ever 2 weeks of your visit. A cleaning rate of $565 per cleaning will be added bi-weekly per week of your stay and requested through the resolutions center. Cleanings will be arranged weekly/biweekly to accommodate guests needs and schedules. One mid-stay cleaning has been included with your reservation as a COMMUNITY FEE. • This home is not child proofed. Cabinets are not secured, there is a pool and hot tub without child locks, we do have breakable items in the home. We welcome adults who bring well behaved children but we expect them to fully supervise their child at all times and do not advertise or guarantee that the home is in any way child safe /child proofed. • NO CHECK-IN ON HOLIDAYS. If your reservation start date falls on any holiday listed you will need to rebook your check-in date. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day. ***Heating the pool for your visit is optional, and is an additional $95 per night of your visit. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to choose this option! •There are noise ordinances here in PS, so please be respectful of our neighbors and there can be no outdoor noise after 10PM. If someone reports you to the City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ANY & ALL fines and you can and will be subject to removal from the property with no refund for unused time. The minimum charge is $500 if they are called out and if a complaint is made to our staff, city compliance, or the police, and/or citation is issues you will be asked to leave immediately with NO refund - so PLEASE have fun but bring it inside after 10PM. •The city of Palm Springs requires that an outside contract will need to be read and signed prior to your visit along with a photo of government issued ID of the responsible party booking this home. A link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. •This home allows one well behaved pet dog with an additional pet fee. All pets must be pre-approved. We DO always allow service dogs. Dogs must be TAKEN OFF PROPERTY to do their business. •Bookings over 28 nights are not subject to city tax. -Surveillance or recording devices on property - Ring camera at front entry door and side gates to monitor entrance. Failure of Tenant to adhere to City regulations will be considered a breach of this rental agreement. Tenant hereby authorizes the Manager to make charges to the Responsible Party for up to $1,500 per incident, should any complaint about the noise level inside/outside the house arise with the local police or the local city authorities. Furthermore, Tenant recognizes the right of the manager to ask Tenant and Tenant's guests to vacate the unit immediately if it becomes necessary without a refund of the rental amount. HOUSE RULES- •Check-in is after 3PM •No parties are allowed- although, having a few guests over for dinner and drinks is encouraged. We want you to enjoy your time without a bunch of rules but please be respectful of the space and of our neighbors. •There are noise ordinances here in PS, so it is quiet hours after 10PM. If someone reports a noise complaint to our staff, the City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ALL fines and asked to leave without refund. •This is a NON-smoking unit -- NO smoking inside but you may smoke outside provided ashtrays are used and sliding doors and windows are closed. If discovered that guests have been smoking indoors, the booking party will be responsible for a minimum $500 cleaning fee. ***TOILET*** DO NOT THROW ANYTHING BUT TOILET PAPER INTO THE TOILETS. All other garbage (i.e. Tampons, baby wipes, paper towels, etc) is to go into the waste basket. •Please DO NOT bring glasses in or around the pool or spa. There are plastic glasses provided for pool and spa use. -Please bring all trash and recycling to the large bins when removing from the home. Thank you! •Please DO NOT leave any flammables such as candles, incense unattended. •Please keep the house reasonably clean and organized. •Missing and/or stained TOWELS will be charged to the guest at a rate of $25 per item. Other linens will be charged accordingly for replacement. Brooklinen sheets and/or duvets will be charged at $195 per set for any stains or damage. ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS will be charged to the guest accordingly. •Please keep front door locked and ALWAYS turn A/C to 85 and leave on auto and cool, and lights off when you finish your stay. •We do allow PRE-APPROVED well behaved pets with an additional pet fee. We DO allow service dogs. They must be kept off furniture and picked up after they do their business. “Pet-iquette” Rules for your dog’s visit We love your furry friend - and want our neighbors to as well - so please be sure everyone knows the rules for your visit with your dog. First, your dog must be pre-approved. There is a pet fee for all dog stays. Registered service dogs are exempt but please let us know if the service animal is required because of a disability and what task the dog has been trained to perform. Other Details to Note
This home allows a maximum of 6 adults/kids. All reservations must be a minimum of 28 nights. No more than 3 cars may be parked at this home during your stay. All noisy activities must be taken inside by 10pm to comply with the quiet hours for short term rental compliance... and to be good neighbors. A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the short term rental guidelines and rules. Pool heating is an additional $95 per night of your visit. Spa heating is included with your stay. Mid-stay cleanings are required a minimum of every 14 days of any guest stay. One mid-stay cleaning has been included with your reservation as a COMMUNITY FEE.
