Check out the photo section for some previous reviews. Hola! Welcome to the dream home Frida Kahlo herself would have imagined. Park in the circular driveway out front and enter the Paloma House to discover a groovy and glam lounge room complete with a luxurious retro-styled sea green velvet lounge setting, large TV, and record player along with a selection of albums to get you feeling the 60’s vibe. Further along is the dining room - with its eclectic gold foil bamboo wallpaper - where you can sit down and feast, enjoying access to the fully equipped kitchen on one side and fabulous pool views and access on the other. The kitchen features a built-in ice-maker with a 50lb. capacity so your frozen cocktails by the pool will be plentiful. Take a journey through each room of the house, and you’ll discover a colorful collection of wallpapers that deliver a glam Palm Springs style, complimented perfectly by wall art consistent with the period. The creature comforts of the stylish interiors give way to the magnificent outdoor facilities, including a private heated (if requested) pool and huge 8-seater spa. There’s also a dining table for al fresco enjoyment, abundant sun lounges to work on that tan, and cute yellow and white striped pool umbrellas for shade. Head around the corner and there’s more fiesta fun to take in with a firepit complete with bright yellow rocks, 8 colored chairs and mountain views. And you can let the games begin with an oversized chess set, full bocce ball court and bonus putting green. The Paloma House was originally created by celebrated builder Jack Meiselman, who was responsible for building a number of midcentury modern homes in the Palm Springs area during the 1950s and 1960s. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING! •Responsible party booking this reservation must be at least 25 years old and present for the stay booked. •This space is set up for 8 adults and 2 children 12 and under per our Palm Springs short term rental permit. Please adjust your guest count accordingly prior to booking. • This home is not child proofed. Cabinets are not secured, there is a pool and hot tub without child locks, we do have breakable items in the home. We welcome adults who bring well behaved children but we expect them to fully supervise their child at all times and do not advertise or guarantee that the home is in any way child safe /child proofed. • NO CHECK-IN ON HOLIDAYS. If your reservation start date falls on any holiday listed you will need to rebook your check-in date. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day. • 11.5% tax has been charged as a “TOT” per the City of Palm Springs requirements. An additional 1% "Tourism Tax" has also been added for all reservations July 1, 2021, and beyond. •Bookings over 28 nights are not subject to city tax. ***Heating the pool for your visit is optional, and is an additional $95 per night of your visit. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to choose this option! •Additional cleaning fees will be added for stays over 10 days. A cleaning rate of $475 per cleaning will be added per week of your stay and requested through the resolutions center. Cleanings will be arranged weekly/biweekly to accommodate guests schedules. •An outside contract will need to be read and signed prior to your visit. Government issued ID photo will also be required and a list of all guests. A link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. •There are noise ordinances here in PS, so please NO OUTDOOR MUSIC of any kind or outdoor noise after 10PM. If someone reports you to the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Compliance, or the police, you will be responsible for ALL fines and asked to leave immediately without refund. -Surveillance or recording devices on property - Ring at front door and drive way to monitor entrance and noise monitoring device inside and on back patio; It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). We are committed to Rent Responsibly standards. This means we follow best-in-class guidelines to ensure you have a peaceful, safe and memorable stay with us. We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Failure of Tenant to adhere to City regulations will be considered a breach of this rental agreement. Furthermore, Tenant recognizes the right of the manager to ask Tenant and Tenant's guests to vacate the unit immediately if it becomes necessary without a refund of the rental amount. There are plastic glasses provided for pool and spa use. -please bring all trash and recycling to the large bins located on the north side of the house when removing from the home. We have a walk up service that comes on Mondays to empty and set back behind the gate. •Please DO NOT leave any flammables such as candles, incense unattended. •Please keep the house reasonably clean and organized. •Missing and/or stained TOWELS will be charged to the guest at a rate of $25 per item. ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS will be charged to the guest accordingly. •Please keep front door locked and ALWAYS turn A/C to 85 and leave on auto and cool, and lights off when you finish your stay. •We do allow well behaved pets with an additional fee and approval PRIOR to your visit. We DO allow service dogs. All pets must be well behaved, cleaned up after. We ask that they stay off furniture if they shed. FILMING: The filming of any still or motion pictures in any format that requires more than 2 persons and/or any specialized gear, apparatus or crew is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained. Guest booking this home must be 25 year or older as our short term rental permit requires. Parties and events are not permitted. OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE This home allows a maximum of 8 adults/kids plus 2 additional kids 12 or under. There are strict noise and parking restrictions in Palm Springs and the booking guest will be responsible for any and all fines incurred during their visit. We reserve the right to immediately cancel any guest stay without refund if any of the short term rental rules are violated. No more than 4 cars may be parked at this home during your stay. NO amplified music is allowed outside, by the pool or otherwise outdoors, and all music must be contained within the home cannot be heard from outside. All activities must be taken inside by 10pm to comply with the quiet hours for short term rental compliance... and to be good neighbors. A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the short term rental guidelines and rules. Pool heating is an additional $95 per night of your visit. Stay of 28+ night require mid stay cleanings a minimum of every 14 night of the stay. Additional cleaning charges will be billed at $525 per cleaning and include a full linen turnover and amenities refresh.

I enjoyed staying at Paloma House with my family. The pool and outdoor spaces were well-maintained. The house was comfortable and the Host With The Most team was responsive and accommodating if anything came up.

Thank you so much Host With The Most. Paloma House is such a beautiful home. From the comfy beds to the big spa. My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much. There is plenty to do here without leaving Paloma house. You will be so entertained. The decor to this house is so amazing. I just have to point out their beautiful zen 🧘🏽‍♀️ space. So gorgeous. Overall, Such a peaceful home. Communication was quick and face to face visit with Teddy was quick and sweet. I would definitely stay here again.

Find us

Minutes from downtown by Lyft or Uber and steps from the city bus, you can be anywhere in Palm Springs without ever having to get in your car. We always recommend renting bikes for at least a day. Our neighborhood is filled with mid century homes and landscapes to to explore.
