We have furnished this unit as we would want a hotel suite, with the best brand new furnishings and hotel quality amenities. The Bedroom boasts a King bed and the living room has a Queen pull out couch. Brooklinen linens provided along with pool towels and everything else you might need for the perfect Palm Springs vacation. Additional rules BY AGREEING TO BOOK, YOU ARE ALSO LEGALLY AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING! •This space is set up for 2 adults and 2 children 12 and under per our Palm Springs short term rental permit. Please adjust your guest count accordingly prior to booking. •Our short term rental permit requires the person booking (responsible party) must be 25 years or older. • NO CHECK-IN ON HOLIDAYS. If your reservation start date falls on any holiday listed you will need to rebook your check-in date. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day. •Additional cleaning fees will be added for stays over 14 days. A cleaning rate of $150 per cleaning will be added biweekly during your stay and payment will be requested through the resolutions center. Cleanings will be arranged biweekly to accommodate guests schedules. •The city of Palm Springs requires that an outside contract will need to be read and signed prior to your visit along with a photo of government issued ID of the responsible party booking this home. A link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. •This home allows one well behaved pet dog with an additional pet fee. All pets must be pre-approved. We DO always allow service dogs. Dogs must be TAKEN OFF PROPERTY to do their business. • 12.5% tax has been charged as a “property use tax” per the City of Palm Springs requirements. •Bookings over 28 nights are not subject to city tax. HOUSE RULES- •Check-in is after 3PM •No parties are allowed- although, having a few guests over for dinner and drinks is encouraged. We want you to enjoy your time without a bunch of rules but please be respectful of the space and of our neighbors. •There are noise ordinances here in PS, so please NO music outside at any time or outdoor noise after 10PM. If someone reports you to the HOA, City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ALL fines. •This is a NON-smoking unit -- NO smoking anywhere inside or outside on the Ocotillo Lodge property, the booking party will be responsible for a minimum $300 cleaning fee. •***TOILET*** DO NOT THROW ANYTHING BUT TOILET PAPER INTO THE TOILETS. All other garbage (i.e. Tampons, baby wipes, paper towels, etc) is to go into the waste basket. •Please DO NOT bring glasses in or around the pool or spa. There are plastic glasses provided for pool and spa use. -please bring all trash and recycling to the large bins located on the west side of the clubhouse up the ramp when removing from the home. Thank you! •Please DO NOT leave any flammables such as candles, incense unattended. •Please keep the house reasonably clean and organized. •Missing and/or stained TOWELS will be charged to the guest at a rate of $25 per item. ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS will be charged to the guest accordingly. •Please keep front door locked and ALWAYS turn A/C to 85 and leave on auto and cool, and lights off when you finish your stay. •This home allows one well behaved pet dog 25lbs or less with an additional pet fee. All pets must be pre-approved. We DO always allow service dogs. Dogs must be TAKEN OFF PROPERTY to do their business. FILMING: The filming of any still or motion pictures in any format that requires more than 2 persons and/or any specialized gear, apparatus or crew is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained. Failure to obtain written authorization may result in full deposit forfeiture. RESPONSIBLE PARTY AS SUBJECT OF THE LAW: Guest acknowledges that during the length of the rental period, Responsible Party and his/her guests is/are subject to all State and Federal laws, County Ordinances and City regulations valid within the jurisdiction where the home is located. Owner(s) and/or Manager(s) are neither responsible to inform Responsible Party of what these laws, ordinances and city regulations are, nor could Owner(s) and/or Manager be held liable should Responsible Party(s) and/or Responsible Party's guests commit a crime, misdemeanor, felony or infraction (including parking infractions). You must also acknowledge Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $2000 RESPONSIBLE PARTY'S (GUEST) LIABILITY: Responsible Party agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property (other than normal wear and tear) by Responsible Party or Responsible Party’s guests, including, but not limited to, landscaping, misuse of appliances, and/or equipment furnished. If damages are in excess of the security deposit being held, Responsible Party agrees to reimburse owners for costs incurred to repair/replace damaged items. HOLD HARMLESS: Owner(s) / Manager(s) do not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, phone, internet, cable or satellite TV, or electricity services or plumbing. Nor will Owners accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control. The foregoing notwithstanding, Owner(s)/Manager(s) will use good faith efforts to remedy any deficient condition following notice. POOL, SPA and WALKWAYS: The undersigned is fully aware that these can be dangerous, that the walkways and area around the pool and spa can be slippery when wet, and that injury is likely to occur to anyone who is not careful. Responsible Party and their guests should observe and adhere to all rules and policies as posted at the property. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of the walkways. • Responsible party booking reservation must be 25 years or older. •This space is perfect for up to 2 adults and 2 kids. The city of Palm Springs limits the number of overnight adult guests to 2. •NO check-ins will be allowed on holidays. You will need to adjust your check in date accordingly to not fall on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day. •A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the short term rental guidelines and rules. This is a city requirement. •A face to face check in is required by the city and will occur within 24 hours of your arrival. •Your room tax of 12.5% has been included in your booking rate as a TOT Tax. •Bookings over 28 nights are not subject to city tax. •An additional weekly or bi-weekly cleaning will be added for stays over 14 days. A cleaning rate of $150 per cleaning will be added per week/bi-weekly and cleanings will be arranged weekly/bi-weekly to accommodate guests schedules. •Brooklinen Towels with stains, damage, or that go missing will be charged a replacement fee of $25 per towel and billed through the Resolution Center. Damaged, stained, or missing Brooklinen sheets and duvet covers will be billed at the current replacement cost online.

Neighborhood

We are one block from the Ace Hotel, a staple for the L.A. hotel getaway crowd, and between you and that happening scene is Koffi, the best coffee in town. The Ocotillo is around the corner from the heart of Palm Springs' downtown, far enough to relax but close enough to bike to.

Guest Access

Enjoy full access to all the Ocotillo Lodge offers: the champagne cork-shaped pool, two large jacuzzis, and Sunshine Bar (BYOB) by the pool with BBQ's. There are 4 sets of washers & dryers for your convenience on site. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with desert landscape featuring many cactus variations mixed with grassy lawns and citrus trees. There is any open 24 hours a day next to the Sunshine Bar. The main clubhouse has pool tables as well as a lounge area with a grand piano that overlooks the pool. UPDATE - the clubhouse is currently closed for renovations as of 5/1/23

We have stayed at this wonderful place many times. It is elegant and well appointed with charming, colorful midcentury delights. Totally recommend it! The pool is the best in Palm Springs!

Find us

Parking is super simple right next to the unit, no stairs to encounter and even a private entrance should you have guests or deliveries! Since the Lodge is right on East Palm Canyon, it is super simple to get to grocery stores or wonderful restaurants, and an easy few minutes to the airport even. For walking, the neighborhood behind the Ocotillo Lodge is a great one to look at homes that have been restored from their mid-century glory. Wonderful places abound!
